“Sophisticated and moderately priced,” is how the owner describes
the clothing in her store.
“We cater to the woman who has an important social life, who
wants an outfit that is flattering, sophisticated, and clothing that
will take her from day to night. We try to keep our prices of the
clothing moderate for our customers,” she said. “We accommodate
everything from casual and sophisticated day wear, lots of
separates, jackets, skirts and pants, cocktail attire, and everything
in between.”
Besides high quality clothing, the boutique also has a welcoming
atmosphere of a small business. Unlike big malls and department
stores, the owner and staff specialize in being knowledgeable
about fashion, trends, clothing designers and can dress you
from head to toe and for any occasion.
“Many women today have careers, so when they shop they
want to have expediency and one-on-one attention. The access
to our store is expedient. When they drive up, there is plenty
of parking; the location is very convenient. And there is always
someone here to help you find that perfect outfit,” said the owner.
“All of my staff offers that red carpet experience to our customers.
You are getting one-on-one service here!”
The owner also gives back to the community through charity
events and fashion shows including the Delray Beach Fashion
Week and many more. Nance, who attended the Parsons School
of Design and owned a hotel, has many years of experience in the
hospitality industry. Many of the customers come in to socialize
with staff and friends and make a day out of shopping and catching
up. The owner Nance has become close friends with many of
her customers and has dressed their entire families. The owner
continues to have the same enthusiasm for the store since the
day it opened.
“I’m still excited about the store and have enthusiasm for the
fashion industry. If you enjoy what you are doing, it doesn’t feel
like work. I get to outfit clothing for the local community and
three generations of families, from grandmothers to mothers
and daughters,” said Nance.
