Technologies for smooth port logistics
Ports facilitate international trade and commerce. The
giant cranes and ground conveyors that handle the
loading and unloading of cargo are one of the most

successful. In order to ensure smooth operation of

tech giant ‘Continental’ is doing its bit to ensure fluidity in operations,
and plays a vital role in the construction of new ports.
Jade Weser Port, Germany’s only deepwater port, during the
construction of this mega-project, the contractors were in need of
floating hoses. They contacted Continental for their hose requirements.
Special-purpose hoses were used for shifting 12 million
cubic meters of sand from the dredgers. Continental also supplied
the high-quality, special-purpose hoses for transporting concrete to
