Israel: “The Little Country
as Big as The World”

Arts and history are an integral
part of Israel, with new products to
discover… Like the Oasis Resort
located in Jericho, the lowest city in
the world!
Birthplace of the main religions,
crossroads of ancestral civilizations
and today capital of high-tech, Israel
is a land of contrasts. For the tourist,
it is a journey that remains engraved
like no other in their memory.
Proof of the “high tech” forward
thinking of local authorities
comes in the news that Tel Aviv-
Yafo Municipality, in conjunction
with Tel Aviv Global & Tourism
Administration, has now completed
the installation of 60 wi-fi hot spots
around the city, with another 20
access points to be installed in the
near future. These locations include
the beach, entertainment centers,
parks and tourist attractions. This
service allows tourists, visitors and
residents free wi-fi access from
virtually anywhere in the city.
Part of the city's planned "digital
revolution", this wi-fi access is
the widest offered today in Israel.
During the pilot project, 13,000
people used the service in July, with
the number more than doubling in
August as more and more tourists
took advantage of the free service.

Preuve de la réflexion
prospective "high tech"
des autorités locales, la
municipalité de Tel Aviv-
Jaffa, en collaboration
avec l'administration
globale et du tourisme
de Tel Aviv, a désormais
achevé l'installation de 60
bornes wi-fi à travers la
ville, alors que 20 points
d'accès supplémentaires
doivent être installés dans
un proche avenir. Parmi
les emplacements de ces
bornes, on notera la plage,
les centres de loisirs, les
parcs et autres attractions
touristiques. Ce service
permet aux touristes, aux
visiteurs et aux résidents
d'avoir un accès wi-fi
depuis pratiquement
n'importe quel endroit de
la ville.
Partie intégrante de la
"révolution numérique"
décidé par la Ville, cet
accès wi-fi est le plus
important proposé
aujourd'hui en Israël.
Au cours du projet-pilote,
13 000 personnes ont
utilisé ce service en juillet,
ce nombre ayant plus que
doublé en août alors que
de plus en plus de touristes
profitaient de ce service
gratuit.
