Note: <strong>The</strong> larger number may be the multiple <strong>of</strong> only one number and<br />
share a common divisor with others, in which case the following rule<br />
i.e. (3) will then be applied between the larger number and the other<br />
numbers besides the number which the larger number was a multiple<br />
<strong>of</strong>. e.g. 3, 6, and 9. 9 is a multiple <strong>of</strong> 3 but not <strong>of</strong> 6. 3 can then be<br />
ignored and between 9 and 6 the following rule will apply.<br />
(3) This is a situation when there are more than one type <strong>of</strong> heirs whose<br />
allotments are indivisible in full numbers, and the numbers <strong>of</strong> heirs (or<br />
their Wifqs) are not multiples <strong>of</strong> each other, but <strong>of</strong> another number. In<br />
this case the Wifq <strong>of</strong> one (when compared to another heir) will be<br />
multiplied into the full <strong>of</strong> another. e.g. from 6 and 9 the Wifq <strong>of</strong> one (<strong>of</strong><br />
9, 3 is the Wifq) will be multiplied into the full <strong>of</strong> 6. (If done the other<br />
way round, then too the same answer will be reached.)<br />
If there are more than two numbers which share Wifqs (“A” may have a<br />
Wifq that fits with “B” and “C”, while “B” and “C” have no Wifq<br />
between them, e.g. 6, 9, and 4) then the Wifq <strong>of</strong> one <strong>of</strong> two related<br />
numbers will be multiplied by the whole <strong>of</strong> the latter, and the result will<br />
