ON SYRIA<br />
Sergey Ponomarev is a Russian documentary photographer who has won<br />
many international awards for his work on the European refugee crisis,<br />
including the Pulitzer Prize (2016), World Press Photo Award (<strong>2017</strong>) and<br />
the Robert Capa Gold Medal Award (<strong>2017</strong>). His photographs, used with<br />
minimal equipment, prioritise the consequences <strong>of</strong> conflict and A Lens<br />
On Syria will feature more than 60 photographs, some <strong>of</strong> them on display<br />
for the first time. The exhibition is displayed across four rooms and is<br />
presented in two sections: Assad’s Syria and The Exodus.<br />
Assad’s Syria focuses on the impact <strong>of</strong> the civil war within the<br />
war-torn country under the rule <strong>of</strong> President Bashar al-Assad<br />
