He leaves behind his nieces Catherine
Charles of Desert Hot Springs, California
and Virgina Hoge of Pasadena, California.
He also will be missed by his many
friends he has made over the past 30 years
while living in the Palm Springs area.
Born in Covington, VA on February 11,
1925. He lived in an orphanage during
was intending to meet for a date.
After serving in the military he attended
the University of Colorado. He was
employed by Industrial Indemnity as an
insurance investigator/underwriter in Los
Angeles. He lived in Silver Lake where he
was a landlord of an apartment complex
he owned.
He moved to Palm Springs in 1987 where
he has lived at the same residence until
his death. Bill was known as a kind and
generous man and to all of his friends and
acquaintances and also as a lover of animals
of which he has rescued a number of
dogs during his life in Palm Springs.
The Tool Shed was his Sunday morning
meeting place with many of his closest
