acquired 100% of the outstanding stock of Interstate<br />
Distributer<br />

Washington<br />
from Saltchuk<br />
Resources.<br />
IDC’s truckload business generated approximately<br />
$325 million in total revenue during 2016.<br />
IDC’s Tacoma, Washington headquarters<br />
and national terminal network overlap substantially<br />
with existing Heartland locations and will be<br />
consolidated together over the near to medium<br />
term.<br />
The transaction enterprise value of approximately<br />
$113 million includes approximately $94<br />
million in cash for the equity, $23 million in assumed<br />
debt, and $4 million of acquired cash.<br />

Scholarships Awarded<br />
Women In Trucking (WIT) Foundation<br />
awarded seven scholarships so far this year. The<br />
scholarship recipients each received $1,000 for<br />
their educational training.<br />
Sarah Hany – enrolled at 160 Driving Academy,<br />
Peoria, IL. Awarded the WIT Foundation/Ryder<br />
Scholarship for her Class A CDL<br />
training.<br />
Ana Silva Biscaia — enrolled at the University<br />
of Wisconsin, Superior, WI. Awarded<br />
the WIT Foundation/Ryder Scholarship for<br />
transportation and logistics management<br />
training.<br />
Tabitha Edwards – enrolled at Universal<br />
Technical Institute in Exton, PA. Awarded<br />
the WIT Foundation/Ryder Scholarship for<br />
her diesel engineering training.<br />
Connie Bugni – enrolled at Veriha Driving<br />
Academy in Marinette, WI. Awarded the WIT<br />
Foundation/ Ryder Scholarship for her Class<br />
A CDL training.<br />
Undral Naran — enrolled at the University<br />
of Wisconsin, Superior, WI. Awarded<br />
the WIT Foundation/Ryder Scholarship for<br />
transportation and logistics management<br />

Faye Slye — enrolled at Alexandria Technical<br />

Awarded the WIT Foundation Scholarship<br />

the WIT Foundation/Jan Hamblin Scholarship<br />
for her Class A CDL training.<br />
The WIT Foundation congratulates these<br />
women on focusing their futures on careers in<br />
the trucking industry. Scholarship applications<br />
will be accepted again through July 31, 20<strong>17</strong>.<br />
Scholarships are awarded in four areas: technical,<br />
safety, leadership and commercial driving.<br />

The next<br />
fundraising opportunity for the WIT Foundation<br />
is its annual first pitch auction taking place online<br />
until June 30, 20<strong>17</strong>. The winning bidder will receive<br />
the ceremonial first pitch to the August 6,<br />
20<strong>17</strong> Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees<br />
game at Progressive Field in Cleveland.<br />
