OMG, where to begin.
The Republicans, AFTER & YEARS, have no plan
to repeal, replace or even repair Obamacare. Three
courageous Senators stood and said NO to removing
31 million people from access to healthcare.
Trump blasts the entire Senate as incompetent
while his administration loses not just a Press Secretary
but a Chief of Staff – all within 6 months of
inauguration.
The new Communications Director is nicknamed
“the Mooch” but it looks like the new name is “Potty-mouth”.
I know my mother would have washed
my mouth out with soap if I even used one of those
words.
The First son-in-law testified before the Senate
committee investigating Russia involvement with
the election and he through First Son – Donnie

Locally, Cathedral City continues to move toward

Council passed a resolution 4-1 supporting and
committing to the Paris Climate agreement. In
September, they will be looking at requiring fast
food restaurants that serve kids meals to offer milk
or water as the default drink, still allowing the
parent or child to order a soft drink, but milk as
default if no choice is made.
Districts are moving forward in Indio and Cathedral
City in anticipation of the 2018 election.
Indio has narrowed down to 3 choices and Cathedral
City to 7. CC will cut those to 3 at the next
council meeting. I believe both cities are planning
on a final decision in September.
Labor Day there will be a Resistance Rally at the
Cathedral City Town Square Park by the Civic
Center. It will be from 5:30pm – 7:00pm and feature
speakers from local and county government,
education, healthcare, environment and more.
There will even be kid’s activities so folks can bring
