OMNITERM
FILM SETTLEMENT AND
DISTRIBUTOR REMIT-
TANCE APPLICATION
Omniterm is adding to its
existing Theatre Management
software platform with
an add-on set to automate
and streamline the management, calculation, and submission
responsibilities to film distributors. The Film Settlement and
Distributor Remittance Application supports both single
theater configurations as well as Omniterm’s “Enterprise
Head Office” multi-theater circuits. The application has been
designed as a stand-alone program that can be provided
to film booking personnel while limiting access to other
nonrelated business information. Multiple configurations
easily accommodate changing royalty percentages on a perweek,
per-theater basis. The Distributor Remittance portion
provides management with an intuitive interface registering
payments by film, theater, and/or global payments by
distributor. Omniterm will be showcasing the application at
ShowEast in booth number 507.
QSC
DPM SERIES PROCESSOR/MONITOR
DPM is a powerful
audio signal
processing
solution for today’s
D-Cinema
audio systems.
The DPM builds on the legacy of QSC’s DCM and DCP
products to provide all signal processing and monitoring
functions for digital cinema in a single integrated
system. Designed to be used with QSC’s Digital
Cinema Amplifiers (DCA) and featuring advanced Intrinsic
Correction settings for QSC’s Digital Cinema
Speakers (DCS), the DPM optimizes QSC loudspeaker
and amplifier performance while simplifying cinema
sound-system wiring and configuration.
The DPM is configurable for passive or bi-amp operation
for 5.1 or 7.1 systems. Two models are available:
DPM 100 and DPM 100H (with HDMI in/out and Dolby®
Digital Plus and DTS®-HD decoding) for non-sync and
alternative content sources.

SAT-4K ACOUSTICALLY TRANSPARENT PROJEC-
TION CINEMA SCREENS
Made in the USA, the SAT-4K screen can be folded
for international distribution with no loss in structural
integrity at significantly lower shipping rates. Providing
true fidelity of the original soundtrack and reference-quality
video reproduction, the SAT-4K features
acoustically woven
screen material, a gain
of 1.18, maximum height
of 16 feet, and a viewing
angle of 160 degrees
while being flame and
mildew resistant.

screens, the sound
stage can be placed directly
behind the screen
at the same horizontal
axis, allowing the vocals
and the special effects to be completely in sync with
the brilliant images on display. Due to almost no
audio frequency loss, the SAT-4K screen allows for a
completely immersive cinema experience,” said Toby
Severtson, president and CEO of Severtson Corp.
The SAT-4K was featured in Russia’s Kino Expo this
past month and is now shipping. Severtson expects
to offer the product with an expanded height availability
later this year.

SMARTENDER AUTOMATIC BEVERAGE SYSTEM

bring the Smartender Automated Beverage System
to a theater near you. The Smartender is an automatic
cocktail pouring machine that pours mixed drinks,
shots, martinis, sodas, and juices all at the touch of
a button. Guaranteeing consistent and exact pours,
regulating usage, generating reports, and much more,
the Smartender syncs directly with a location’s pointof-sale
software and begins positively impacting the
bottom line the moment it is plugged in. The Smartender
comes in both a portable and a built-in modular
model.
