Day 1: Calgary – Banff<br />

Arrive into Calgary and take your included transfer<br />

to Banff in the heart of the Banff National Park.<br />

Day 2: Banff<br />

You’ve a full day to explore the pretty Rockies<br />

resort town of Banff with its shops, bars and<br />

restaurants in a stunning mountain setting. Perhaps<br />

take a ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a river<br />

float trip on the Bow River or visit Lake Louise and<br />

Moraine Lake. The options are almost endless.<br />

Day 3: Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops<br />

Board the Rocky Mountaineer and relax as you<br />

travel in SilverLeaf class on your journey through<br />

the Spiral Tunnels and across the Continental<br />

Divide into British Columbia. Enjoy the on-board<br />

service and stunning scenery as you pass glaciers<br />

and snow-capped peaks, then travel through ranch<br />

land to Kamloops for the night.<br />

Day 4: Rocky Mountaineer – Vancouver<br />

Journey along the Thomson River to the Fraser<br />

Canyon and pass through the narrowest point at<br />

Hells Gate. Continue through the fertile Fraser<br />

Valley to Vancouver and transfer to your hotel.<br />

Day 5: Vancouver<br />

Enjoy Vancouver today. We include a city tour to<br />

show you the best of Canada’s most liveable city.<br />

Day 6: Vancouver - Cruise departure<br />

The morning is free for last minute exploring.<br />

Perhaps shop on chic Robson Street or visit the<br />

city’s vast array of museums then board your cruise<br />

ship this afternoon for your Alaska cruise. Seven<br />

Seas mariner sets sail at 6pm<br />

Day 7: Cruise the Inside Passage<br />

This is the scenic waterway that reaches 1000 miles<br />

from beautiful British Columbia to historic Skagway,<br />

Alaska. Through a maze of bays, straits, arms and<br />

fjords you’ll cruise past an ever-changing panorama<br />

of unspoiled beauty...cascading waterfalls, virgin<br />

forests and majestic glacier-carved fjords.<br />

Day 8: Ketchikan<br />

Much of Ketchikan’s colourful past is still in evidence,<br />

like the world’s largest collection of totem poles,<br />

staring out to sea.<br />

Day 9: Tracy Arm Fjord, Sawyer Glacier & Juneau<br />

Sawyer Glacier boasts an impressive list of wildlife;<br />

black and brown bears, deer, wolves and moose. Next<br />

you’ll cruise to Juneau, Alaska’s capital city. Today<br />

it is the scenery and fauna that is the town’s fortune<br />

with wild mountains, fjords and glaciers dominating.<br />

Day 10: Skagway<br />

A hundred years ago some 20,000 gold prospectors<br />

came stampeding through Skagway, a little town that<br />

still survives today with its false fronted buildings and<br />

wooden boardwalks lining the streets.<br />

Day 11: Sitka<br />

The historic community of Sitka sits on Baranof<br />

Island, on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. With a<br />

mixed heritage of part native Alaskan, part Russian,<br />

Sitka is a fascinating destination of unexpected<br />

cultural depth.<br />

Day 12: Cruising Hubbard Glacier<br />

Hubbard Glacier is a mesmerizing natural wonder<br />

framed in striking glacial blue, and is the largest<br />

tidewater glacier in North America.<br />

Day 13: Seward – Departure<br />

Arrive in Seward at 8am this morning and take your<br />

included transfer to Anchorage for your onward<br />

flight, or perhaps stay a while and explore Alaska.<br />
