Day 1: Arrive Toronto<br />

Arrive at Toronto Airport and transfer to your hotel.<br />

Collect your documentation pack at the front desk<br />

as you check in. The remainder of the day is free to<br />

explore.<br />

Days 2 & 3: Toronto<br />

Two free days to explore the city. With exciting<br />

attractions, live performance, major league sports<br />

and a festival for nearly everything, you’ll never<br />

run out of things to do in Toronto. Toronto offers<br />

colourful neighbourhoods, world class shopping, fine<br />

cuisine and multiple recreational activities. Explore<br />

the waterfront area, where you will find colourful<br />

shops, galleries, outdoor theatres, restaurants and<br />

bars and the downtown core with its many galleries<br />

and shopping districts. The CN Tower is a “must<br />

see” for all visitors, travel to the observation deck<br />

in one of six glass fronted high-speed elevators for<br />

spectacular views of the city, the suburbs, the lake<br />

and its shoreline.<br />

Day 4: Toronto - Niagara Falls (80 miles)<br />

Collect your car this morning and begin your journey<br />

to one of Seven Wonders of the World. Your drive<br />

takes your south through the Niagara Peninsula and<br />

along the Niagara Parkway to the fabulous Falls. On<br />

arrival check in at you hotel and the rest of the day<br />

is free to explore the area. Included in your package<br />

is the Hornblower Cruise for, a thrilling boat ride<br />

to the very foot of the falls and a helicopter ride<br />

over the falls to see the region from a completely<br />

different perspective.<br />

Day 5: Niagara - Elmhirst’s Resort (190 miles)<br />

Today drive north to Ontario’s ‘cottage country’ and<br />

the Elmhirst’s Resort on the shore of Rice Lake. A<br />

lakefront cottage with a scenic view is home for the<br />

next seven nights.<br />

Your cottage offers a fully equipped kitchen with<br />

microwave, dishes, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee<br />

maker, fridge and stove. A wood burning fireplaces<br />

(wood provided), TV, CD player and telephone with<br />

modem is located in the living room. Your outside<br />

deck has a gas barbecue, patio furniture, picnic<br />

table and private dock. Parking is adjacent to each<br />

unit. The Main Lodge is the focal point of the Resort<br />

and is best known for the Hearthside Room, a place<br />

for dining beside a scenic view of Rice Lake, and the<br />

Wild Blue Yonder Pub, a place to meet for a drink,<br />

game of darts, or snack.<br />

Days 6-11: Elmhirst’s Resort<br />

Six full days to be as active or inactive as you<br />

choose. Imagine a place where all you can hear<br />

is the sound of the birds when you wake in the<br />

morning, where all you see when you pull back<br />

the curtains is the wide expanse of a tranquil lake.<br />

Surrounded by gardens, the resort boasts the ideal<br />

setting for enjoying nature on the waterfront. In the<br />

evening relax in the pub over a light meal and drink,<br />

or try the renowned cuisine in Hearthside with its<br />

lake views. For those who prefer to be more active,<br />

the resort is home to an abundance of activities<br />

to keep the whole family entertained. From horse<br />

rides, to water sports; tennis; bike rides and hikes.<br />

The resort is also perfectly located to explore more<br />

of Ontario, perhaps you could take a day trip to the<br />

Thousand Islands or Algonquin National Park.<br />

Day 12: Elmhirst’s Resort - Toronto (90 miles)<br />

A leisurely drive brings you back to Toronto for your<br />

final night’s stay.<br />

Day 13: Toronto Departure<br />

Return your car to Toronto Airport, where sadly your<br />

tour comes to an end.<br />
