Cape Breton Island Escorted Tour | 5 days
Day 1: Arrive Halifax
Arrive in Halifax and settle into your hotel.
Day 2: Halifax – Baddeck
Depart Halifax for Cape Breton Island via the Canso
Causeway. Visit the Alexander Graham Bell National
Historic Site in Baddeck before arriving at your
accommodations on the Bras D’Or Lake where you
will spend two nights.
Day 3: Cabot Trail Touring
The Cabot Trail winds around the rocky splendour
of Cape Breton’s northern shore, ascending to
the incredible plateaus of Cape Breton Highlands
National Park. Look-offs offer unforgettable vistas of
Cape Breton’s rugged coastline so be sure to have
your camera on hand. Also enjoy a Whale Watching
Boat Tour (weather permitting).
Day 4: Baddeck – Halifax
The Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site
awaits you today. Roam the streets and chat with
authentically costumed guides. Proceed along the
shore of the Bras D’Or Lake to the mainland, and
back to Halifax for one last night in the Maritimes.
Day 5: Depart Halifax
Your tour ends on check out from the hotel.

Halifax & Peggy’s Cove Tour
Peggy’s Cove has been an artist and explorers
paradise for over 150 years. This picture postcard
village, on the rugged Atlantic shoreline, stands on
solid rock above the crashing surf. The lighthouse
is the most photographed lighthouse in the world.
Enjoy some free time to exploring the rocks, the
trails & the village.

Halifax Whale Watching Cruise
Your whale watching and wildlife adventure takes
you from Halifax Harbour as you cruise to Chebucto
Head in search of minke whales, fin whales, dolphins,
seals, tuna, sunfish, and a variety of seabirds. The
onboard crew will pull a lobster trap and show you
how to handle a lobster.
