Kenai Fjords National Park
Cruise
This full day tour departs Anchorage early morning
by coach or rail to Seward for a 6 hour cruise into
the Kenai Fjords National Park. Return to Anchorage
by coach or rail.

Prince William Sound Cruise
This full day tour departs Anchorage approx.
09:45am by rail to Whittier. It’s a short transfer
to the ship and a 5 hour cruise with on-board
naturalists who will introduce you to College and
Harrimann Fjords. Return to Anchorage by rail.
Lunch included.

Redoubt Bay Bear Viewing
This 6-hour tour offers a great bear viewing
opportunity for those with limited time. Transfer
from your Anchorage hotel to join a one hour
scenic flight by floatplane across Cook Inlet. You
will land at a rustic lodge on a wilderness lake, from
where you will join a guided bear viewing tour by a
small motorboat. You will look for the brown bears
feeding on salmon and have a good chance to see
the bears up close. (Please note that the lodge is
located in prime bear habitat but bear sightings
cannot be guaranteed). Lunch is included.

Denali National Park
Access to Denali National Park is regulated by
the National Park Service. Private vehicles are not
allowed into the park. The park can be visited by
one of the park shuttles or tour buses. Buses stop
for wildlife viewing along the road. In the park
there are only a few rest-room facilities and food/
beverages are not available for purchase.
Tundra Wilderness Tour
Travel by bus approx. 53 miles into the park. The
park is inhabited by different animal species such as
bears, caribou, moose, sheep, wolves and a variety
of birds. Mt. McKinley can be seen on clear days.

Duration: 6-8-hour roundtrip (subject to weather &

The Alaska Railroad operates year-round between
Anchorage, Talkeetna, Denali National Park and
Fairbanks and a summer seasonal service between
Anchorage - Seward (gateway to Kenai Fjords
National Park) and between Anchorage – Whittier
(gateway to Prince William Sound). The service
north of Anchorage offers a choice of reserved
seating in standard coach cars or GoldStar deluxe
dome railcars. Standard coach cars are one-level
railcars. GoldStar Deluxe dome railcars are double
deck; upper level accommodates passenger seating,
lower level is the dining area.
