Each appointment lasts about 45 minutes, and training is effortless, as the
client sits in a comfortable chair with sensors attached to his or her head/
ears and watches a movie or listens to music. When the system detects an
inefficiency, it cues the brain by momentarily stopping the music and/or video.
With continued training, the brain learns to correct and thus reorganize itself.
MasterMind works with a wide variety of clients to treat the symptoms of
many neurological-based conditions, including attention deficit hyperactivity
disorder (ADHD), anxiety, autism, epilepsy, behavioral issues, etc. It also offers
postconcussive training, as well as peak performance training for athletes.
Neurofeedback provides positive results in conjunction with other modalities
and as a stand-alone option.
