Austin Peay State University. He obtained his medical degree from The<br />

University of Tennessee in 2004 and completed his general surgery training<br />

at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville. He then completed<br />

a vascular fellowship at the University of Virginia. He is board-certified<br />

in vascular surgery and affiliated with Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Health Central<br />

Richard R. Teed, M.D., attended the University of Florida, where he earned<br />

a Bachelor of Science in microbiology and cell science with a minor in classical<br />

studies. He then graduated with honors from Ross University School<br />

of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Carilion Clinic<br />

in Roanoke, Virginia, followed by vascular surgery fellowship training at<br />

Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is fellowshiptrained<br />

and board-certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of<br />

Surgery. Dr. Teed’s specialties include the treatment of peripheral arterial disease<br />

(PAD); limb salvage; dialysis access; wound care; aortic surgery, including<br />

aneurysms and dissections; carotid artery surgery for stroke prevention;<br />

and the treatment of all aspects of venous disease.<br />

Charles S. Thompson, M.D., FACS, RPVI, is a graduate of the University of<br />

Florida. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami and<br />

performed his general surgery and vascular surgery training at the Medical<br />

Center of Louisiana at New Orleans. He pursued specialty training in endovascular<br />

procedures at the Arizona Heart Institute and is board-certified in<br />

general and vascular surgery. Dr. Thompson was instrumental in creating the<br />

endovascular surgery program at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He is affiliated<br />

with Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Health Central Hospital, Orlando Regional<br />

Jon M. Wesley, M.D., FACS, RPVI, received his medical degree from the<br />

University of Miami and completed his general surgery residency at Howard<br />

University Hospital in Washington, D.C., with two years dedicated to intensive<br />

research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr.<br />

Wesley went on to complete specialty training in vascular surgery at the<br />

University of Wisconsin Hospital. He is board-certified in vascular and general<br />

surgery. Dr. Wesley is affiliated with Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Health Central<br />

Hospital, Orlando Regional Medical Center, and South Lake Hospital. ª
