Sigh - just when you think he is learning
his job, he f ’s it up.
The President sounded the right tone as
it related to the massacre in Las Vegas but
then traveled to Puerto Rico to attack the
Mayor, saying they need to fix their debt
and help themselves. He really is a racist.
Not two ways about it.
You cannot in good conscience support
Florida and Texas and then stand in the
way of one of our territories, where the
residents are citizens of the USA, and tell
them they have to do a variety of things
before we assist - sure smacks of racism,
imperialism and a bunch of other isms.
The HHS Secretary resigned this week
after it was discovered he had billed the
taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars
for private plane trips instead of commercial.
He offered to repay $50,000 but
not the cost of his entourage! Now how
about the 4 other cabinet members who
did the same thing? Methinks the swamp
has gotten deeper and dirtier.
Grand juries in three different states, subpoenas
being issued, orders being given
not to destroy documents. Sounds like
the Nixon era all over. So what does Donald
do - head to New Jersey to play golf.
Tells his Secretary of State to “quit wasting
your time” trying to negotiate with North
Korea, attacks NFL players for protesting
racism, attacks the Mayor of San Juan,
Puerto Rico, attacks John McCain for voting
his conscience. Let’s face it - the President
of the US is nut basket.
Let’s return to the tragedy in Las Vegas for
a moment. We are all shocked and saddened
by this senseless act of violence and
we mourn the victims - in fact, my trainer,
Nick, was there at the concert. But when
do we see real gun control legislation,
either from the federal government or the
Nevada state government? I believe in the
Second Amendment. I believe that Americans
have the right to own a gun to protect
themselves, but NO WHERE in the Constitution
does it say that we have the right
to AK-47 assault rifles, or that we must
have dozens of weapons. Too many people
have died because our politicians - on both
sides - lack the courage to stand up to the
NRA. ACT NOW!
That’s it for this week. Stand up and
RESIST. It is our job to take the lead of
retrieving our nation.
