SLINGSHOT JETBOARD<br />
The shortfin mako shark is widely considered to be the fastest in the world.<br />
At full-throttle, it’s estimated to go between 45 and 60 miles per hour. Its<br />
wakeboard namesake, the carbon-fibre Mako Slingshot Jetboard, is powered<br />
by a fuel-efficient Rotron XT100 engine that tops at about 34 miles per hour.<br />
It’s essentially a 20kg jet-ski, surfboard hybrid that can fit in the trunk of your<br />
