Portuguese Bend Horse Show Poster Contest<br />
In anticipation of the 60th Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show <strong>Sept</strong>ember<br />
8-10 at Ernie Howlett Park, high school students across the <strong>Peninsula</strong> were<br />
invited to participate in a photography contest showcasing the heart-rending relationships<br />
between horses and people. The winner would receive a monetary<br />
award as well as the honor of having his/her photo piece used for the show’s<br />
promotional posters. The contest was sponsored by Lisa and Chuck Noski of Palos<br />
Verdes and the Art Department of <strong>Peninsula</strong> High School received a $1500 prize<br />
as did the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in honor of <strong>Peninsula</strong> High School’s<br />
1st Place Winner, Chloe Green’s winning submission.<br />
