Bahrain Property Brokerage Expo <strong>2018</strong><br />

Connecting all Real Estate Stakeholders<br />

Held under the patronage of H.E.<br />

Eng. Esam bin Abdullah Khalaf,<br />

Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs<br />

and Urban Planning, on 14th and 15th<br />

March <strong>2018</strong>, Bahrain Property Brokerage<br />

Expo <strong>2018</strong> promises to be an invaluable<br />

annual real estate platform where<br />

sellers and buyers can meet under one<br />

roof. Organized at the at the Bahrain<br />

Convention Center - Crowne Plaza Hotel,<br />

visitors had an excellent opportunity<br />

to shop across a spectrum of available<br />

properties with different price ranges and<br />

specifications.<br />

This inaugural event held for the first<br />

time this year is organized by Bahrain<br />

Real Estate Association with Expressions<br />

Marketing Communications and in<br />

strategic partnership with Tamkeen and<br />

supported by many key institutions in<br />

the region. The Expo intended to fill the<br />

gap between local demand and supply of<br />

residential and commercial properties<br />

offered, and has been hugely succesful<br />

in serving a significant segment of<br />

investors and beneficiaries of housing<br />

facilities. It has also proved a boon to new<br />

investors like newlyweds looking to set<br />

up a home, and GCC nationals. It has also<br />

provided an opportunity to meet with<br />

real estate brokers, property developers<br />

and other service providers who will offer<br />

supporting services needed by property<br />

buyers.<br />

Bahrain Property Brokerage Expo<br />

<strong>2018</strong> has been organized in line with The<br />

Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, which<br />

supports economic investment in non-oil<br />

sectors. Bahrain Property Brokerage Expo<br />

<strong>2018</strong> is gaining tremendous support and<br />

participation from regional traders and<br />

property agents working in the real estate<br />

sector. It will also empower a generation<br />

of qualified and passionate Bahrainis who<br />

will drive the real estate sector to thrive<br />

in the Kingdom of Bahrain.<br />

Expo <strong>2018</strong> also promotes a culture of<br />

property investment, supporting the<br />

development of professionals wanting<br />

to work in the real estate sector and in<br />

services available in the field of property<br />

investment and brokerage.<br />

Supporting the many apparent benefits<br />

and potential that the Expo offers, its<br />

main objectives are very much in line<br />

with the direction of the government in<br />

promoting Bahrain as a key investment<br />

centre.<br />

practitioners for property<br />

• Identify the main obstacles facing<br />

the real estate sector.<br />

Alongside the main event, the Expo<br />

also hosted several parallel seminars<br />

that covered a variety of relevant issues<br />

and current real estate topics including<br />

Discussions on new regulations and<br />

opportunities; training of Bahrainis<br />

to work as property professionals and<br />

practitioners, property investment and<br />

marketing, and regional and local real<br />

estate trends.<br />
