model arrive in Bahrain<br />

Motorcity launched the all-new<br />

7-seater SsangYong Rexton with<br />

major advances in style, quality, safety<br />

and technology.<br />

With its sheer presence and<br />

beautifully balanced exterior, the new<br />

Rexton comes in three main trim<br />

levels: Low, Mid and High, and offers<br />

a prestigious cabin for passengers<br />

to travel in supreme comfort, while<br />

disguising its tough and rugged exterior.<br />

<strong>2018</strong> Toyota Yaris<br />

Hatchback launched<br />

The all-new <strong>2018</strong> Toyota Yaris<br />

hatchback is part of Toyota’s “Value<br />

Beyond Belief” concept, featuring a<br />

class above fuel economy and dynamic<br />

performance along with the safety and<br />

durability that Toyota is known for. It<br />

also boasts leading safety & technology<br />

features, an interior with high quality<br />

materials, a more spacious cabin with<br />

improved legroom, larger trunk capacity,<br />

plus enhanced comfort and handling<br />

stability.<br />

The new Rexton is powered by<br />

G20DTR DI, a 2.0-litre turbocharged<br />

direct-injection gasoline engine,<br />

delivering maximum power of 225HP<br />

and maximum torque of 350Nm, with an<br />

Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission.<br />

It measures 4,850mm in length, 1,960mm<br />

wide, 1,825mm high, and has a 2,865mm<br />

wheelbase.<br />

The sense of sophistication is<br />

demonstrated with the beautifully<br />

executed interior. The ambiance is fresh,<br />

contemporary and well laid out, with<br />

a choice of seating including full high<br />

grade Nappa leather trim.<br />

The car’s safety features include<br />

brake assist, electronic brake force<br />

distribution and ABS, traction control,<br />

active rollover protection, front airbags<br />

and an emergency stop signal. It has<br />

also added new driver assistance safety<br />

features such as lane departure warning<br />

and high beam assistance.<br />

The interior of the new sport<br />

hatchback received major modifications<br />

in its design and technology offerings<br />

that increase comfort and massively<br />

reduce the car’s noise. The optimised<br />

Yaris boasts a more spacious cabin with<br />

newly designed rear seats and increased<br />

shoulder and leg room.<br />

New technologies designed to<br />

provide controlled and balanced driving<br />

experience were also added to this year’s<br />

model. These technologies include 7S<br />

Multi Drive Transmission, Low Rollingresistance<br />

Coefficient (RRC) tyres and<br />

LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRL).<br />

The redefined model has introduced<br />

connectivity with Apple CarPlay<br />

and Google Android Auto for device<br />

all displayed on an 8.0” screen.<br />

Other features include a Supervision<br />

instrument cluster with a particularly<br />

large 7” LCD display for driver information,<br />

and a ‘smart’ electronic tailgate for added<br />

convenience when loading and unloading<br />

the boot, according to model.<br />

The SsangYong Rexton starts from<br />

BD8,995 or BD131* per month, at zero<br />

down payment, a 5-year /or 150,000km*<br />

warranty, and 5 years of roadside<br />

assistance.<br />
