Following the Port Hills fires, a<br />
lot of work is needed to rejuvenate<br />
the area. City council rangers are<br />
hoping to plant 7000 plants. To<br />
do that they need 8400 protective<br />
cages made to keep the plants safe<br />
from being eaten. All the tools<br />
needed to make the cages will be<br />
provided and cage-making will<br />
take place most days until May<br />
13. This is suitable for children<br />
older than 10 years of age and<br />
for families. Park in the public<br />
car park behind the visitors<br />
centre and walk to the rangers<br />
headquarters.<br />
