WHERAS <strong>Council</strong> for the Corporation of the Municipality of McDougall supports in<br />
principle a Recreational Complex Advisory <strong>Committee</strong> working with the West Parry<br />
Sound Area Municipalities to investigate and determine the feasibility of a recreational<br />
wellness and pool complex in the Parry Sound Area;<br />
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT <strong>Council</strong> agrees to appoint a representative for<br />
the Municipality of McDougall to the Recreational Complex Advisory <strong>Committee</strong>.<br />

WHEREAS the participating municipal partners have agreed that the Regional<br />
Economic Development Advisory <strong>Committee</strong>’s (REDAC) role and mandate should be<br />
changed, and that REDAC be replaced by creating a new organization known as the<br />
West Parry Sound Economic Development Collaborative;<br />
AND WHEREAS the Municipality of McDougall approved Resolution 2017-177 adopting<br />
the Terms of Reference for the West Parry Sound Economic Development<br />
Collaborative;<br />
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT upon the adoption of the Terms of Reference<br />
for the West Parry Sound Economic Development Collaborative by all participating<br />
municipalities, <strong>Council</strong> does hereby approve the termination of REDAC;<br />
AND FURTHER THAT upon the adoption of the Terms of Reference for the West Parry<br />
Sound Economic Development Collaborative by all participating municipalities, <strong>Council</strong><br />
does hereby appoint Mayor Dale Robinson, and CAO Tim Hunt as the representatives<br />
for the Municipality of McDougall on the Board of Stakeholder Municipalities for the<br />
West Parry Sound Economic Development Collaborative.<br />

Be It Resolved that the next portion of the meeting be closed to the public at<br />
p.m. in order to address a matter pertaining to:<br />
1. the security of the property of the municipality or local board;<br />
2. personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal employees<br />
or local board employees;<br />
3. a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or<br />
local board;<br />
4. labour relations or employee negotiations;<br />
5. litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals,<br />
affecting the municipality or local board;<br />
6. the receiving of advice which is subject to solicitor/client privilege,<br />
including communications necessary for that purpose;
