WHERAS Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of McDougall supports in
principle a Recreational Complex Advisory Committee working with the West Parry
Sound Area Municipalities to investigate and determine the feasibility of a recreational
wellness and pool complex in the Parry Sound Area;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council agrees to appoint a representative for
the Municipality of McDougall to the Recreational Complex Advisory Committee.

WHEREAS the participating municipal partners have agreed that the Regional
Economic Development Advisory Committee’s (REDAC) role and mandate should be
changed, and that REDAC be replaced by creating a new organization known as the
West Parry Sound Economic Development Collaborative;
AND WHEREAS the Municipality of McDougall approved Resolution 2017-177 adopting
the Terms of Reference for the West Parry Sound Economic Development
Collaborative;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT upon the adoption of the Terms of Reference
for the West Parry Sound Economic Development Collaborative by all participating
municipalities, Council does hereby approve the termination of REDAC;
AND FURTHER THAT upon the adoption of the Terms of Reference for the West Parry
Sound Economic Development Collaborative by all participating municipalities, Council
does hereby appoint Mayor Dale Robinson, and CAO Tim Hunt as the representatives
for the Municipality of McDougall on the Board of Stakeholder Municipalities for the
West Parry Sound Economic Development Collaborative.

Be It Resolved that the next portion of the meeting be closed to the public at
p.m. in order to address a matter pertaining to:
1. the security of the property of the municipality or local board;
2. personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal employees
or local board employees;
3. a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or
local board;
4. labour relations or employee negotiations;
5. litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals,
affecting the municipality or local board;
6. the receiving of advice which is subject to solicitor/client privilege,
including communications necessary for that purpose;
