The UK population is on the increase and recent
ONS research predicts that by 2024, some
urban areas, such as London, expect
populations to increase by as much as 24%. With
more people looking to live and work in the world’s
largest cities, along with the UK Government
recently pledging to build 300,000 new homes to
cope with rapidly expanding populations, space will
become more limited in the coming years.
With commercial and residential space becoming more
compact to satisfy demand, developers are now turning
