While writing for a living may not be the most dependable way to pay your bills, it can be<br />
a creative way to supplement your income. <strong>In</strong> this class, we’ll explore various methods and<br />
outlets for getting your work published, beginning with editing and revising. <strong>Class</strong> time will<br />
be spent critiquing our writing; the other half will be spent exploring ways to sell it. Bring<br />
a pen and paper (or your laptop). It will not be a class requirement, but those interested<br />
in sharing their work will receive the benefit of a thorough, productive critique from the<br />
instructor and fellow students.<br />

This course is designed to help writers improve their screenplays by teaching them to<br />
identify important questions about their script’s story, structure, plot, scenes, characters and<br />
dialogue. Writers will share their work and receive feedback from the instructor and their<br />
peers, and they will learn to sharpen their writing skills and improve their ability to analyze<br />
their own screenplays and the work of others. This revision workshop is designed for people<br />
who have already completed an entire screenplay (or Act 1, at the very least), who are<br />
familiar with proper screenplay format and screenwriting software, and who have a clear<br />
understanding of scene writing and screenplay structure.<br />

you with practical guidance on creating your comic and getting it published. <strong>In</strong> addition,<br />
you’ll gain insight into how comic book companies operate in today’s changing publishing<br />
landscape. You’ll learn how to package your idea in an attractive proposal; how to write<br />
your scripts in an industry-accepted style and how to reach other professionals and editors.<br />

control in ballet class, express yourself through modern dance and learn to tell a story<br />
through movement in lyrical dance. Ballet shoes required. Some previous dance experience<br />
is helpful.<br />

assisting the instructors. NOTE: Junior Counselors will be expected to attend all training<br />
sessions and will be expected to be present and work every day of camp. Further details to<br />
