are so fortunate to have in the Northwest.<br />
<strong>Spring</strong> is a time of renewal and a chance to plan<br />
a trip to refresh your soul and your relationships.<br />
Grab your sweetie, your bestie or your favorite<br />
kids and whisk them off to a charming getaway<br />
you will always remember. The train is also a scenic,<br />
easy way for grandparents to create lasting<br />
memories with grandkids.<br />
In Seattle, take an iconic journey in a gold elevator<br />
to the Space Needle Observation Deck and<br />
delight in 360-degree views. Seattle, Portland and<br />
Vancouver BC all host foodie-favorite gems. You<br />
can go try a new restaurant, then stay overnight<br />
and work off those extra calories by getting out<br />
for a walk or a bike ride. Pro tip: we have ten bike<br />
racks on every train. The tulip fields along the<br />
Amtrak Cascades corridor in Washington and<br />
Oregon burst with color in spring. Why not take<br />
those in from a hot air balloon? Or, savor farm-totable<br />
dining in walk-friendly Eugene, which is also<br />
home to handcrafted chocolates.<br />
