A date for your diary: Atelier Tremlett, the
private teaching studio of classically trained
painter Jason Tremlett, has its first Open
Studio from the 1st until the 3rd of June
(11am-5pm). The Fisher Street based studio
teaches a traditional approach to drawing and
painting from life, which stems directly from
the leading ateliers of 19th-century Paris,
and is one of only a few studios teaching
these methods in the country. This informal
exhibition will showcase the best of the twelve
students’ work, as well as pieces by Jason
himself, made over the studio’s first teaching
