Delaney Davidson in carnival mode -
Arts on Tour NZ Magic Lightbox Tour
at The Laboratory - Monday 13 November, 7pm
Remember the slide show of the returned
traveller? Remember the projected image on
a sheet in the living room? See these oldtime
images combined with evocative music
in Delaney Davidson’s homage to lost ways of
storytelling. Come and be enthralled with these
traveller’s tales told through an ingenious blend
of live music and film. In his inimitable style,
Arts Laureate Delaney gives us a glimpse of a
forgotten time - dusty highways, old Europe,
the ‘new world’ of the USA and New Zealand as
you’ve never seen it before...
Fresh from the success of his recent European
tour, Delaney presents ‘Magic Lightbox’ at The
Laboratory on Monday 13 November, 7pm.
Catch him before he disappears again for parts
unknown.
The Laboratory is opening especially on a
Monday (when normally closed) so the whole
venue will be given over to this fantastic event.
Doors open at 5.30pm and the show
starts at 7pm.
The bar will be open with a delicious menu
available on the night.
Tickets are $15 and available over the bar
or call 325 3006.
Look forward to more superb performances
at ticketed events at The Laboratory through
the coming months. Check out our website
for these and other great community events
