Golf In <strong>2018</strong>, we are playing on Mondays at different courses around Guelph, Cambridge and Kitchener/Waterloo until the last Monday of September. Hearing Improvement The Hearing Improvement Committee of Guelph has the objective of helping fellow citizens with hearing loss by: co-operating with and assisting professionals who deal with it; promoting hearing accessibility within our own community; holding regular information sessions to encourage greater understanding of the problem and what is available to help it. We meet the first Wednesday of each month from October through May from 2-3:30 pm. We discuss problems affecting those with hearing loss and try to find solutions. Everyone Welcome Into Focus Photography Club Summer’s here and the time is right for photographing our families and our communities and the members of the Into Focus Photography Club will keep our cameras at the ready. Our themes for the three summer months are hair styles in <strong>June</strong>, nature macros in <strong>July</strong>, and feet in September. The <strong>July</strong> closure of the centre will have an impact on our display in the restaurant but will not affect our picture taking. We still have a couple of weeks to complete our scavenger hunt challenge. We were presented with a list of 20 subjects and challenged to photograph as many as possible by <strong>June</strong> 15. Pickleball Pickleball is a sport in which four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports: the dimensions and layout of a badminton court and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications.
