taxi industry has faced, we are
now witnessing happening in most
countries around the world.
The status quo and the protection
that taxis and hire cars enjoyed in a
regulated industry is changing for

Out of this devastation comes
innovation - P2P Transport,
Australia’s largest passenger fleet
company.
This is a story of a group of taxi
fleet operators, who have always
engaged in entrepreneurial ventures,
deciding that the way forward
needed to change. The founders of
P2P Transport took time to study
successful taxi fleet models around
the world and decided it was the right
time to launch a similar business in
the Australian market.
This venture was years in the
making and in March 2017 TaxiLink
(Melbourne’s largest operator) and
the Taxi Base (Sydney’s largest fleet
operator) joined forces to create P2P
Transport.
Originally from humble beginnings
with small fleets the founders
managed to grow their fleet to 784
vehicles and as a result successfully
listed the business on the ASX on
13 December 2017 and since then
the growth of P2P Transport has
accelerated.

service to all our passengers,” says
P2P Director, Harry Katsiabanis.
On 15 May 2018, P2P Transport
announced to the market the
acquisition of Black & White Cabs in
Brisbane. P2P Transport will acquire
100% of Black & White Cabs, subject
to due diligence and other regulatory
requirements.
Greg Webb, Managing Director of
Black & White Cabs, will remain in
his position and will join the P2P
Transport board bringing decades of
industry experience with him.
