Daniel J. Richard,<br />
62 years, of Peabody,<br />
died unexpectedly<br />
at home,<br />
on June 3, 2018.<br />
He was the husband<br />
of the late<br />
Shirley J. (Arnold)<br />
Richard.<br />
He was born in<br />
Lynn, the son of<br />
the late Philip and<br />
Mildred (Morelli)<br />
Richard. He was raised in Lynn<br />
and was a graduate of Lynn<br />
English High School. He was a<br />
graduate of Northeastern University<br />
receiving a Bachelor’s<br />
Degree in Pharmacology. He<br />
has lived the past 33 years in<br />
Peabody.<br />
He was employed for many<br />
years as a pharmacist working<br />
for Brooks Pharmacy, IWP, and<br />
Union Hospital. He was also<br />
a real estate agent for Coldwell<br />
Banker in Lynnfi eld. Most<br />
recently he worked as a clerk<br />
in the Boxford Post Offi ce. Mr.<br />
Richard enjoyed music, going<br />
to concerts and reading. He enjoyed<br />
walks on Lake Quannapowitt<br />
in Wakefi eld and puttering<br />
around his house. He loved<br />
all animals especially dogs<br />
and cats. Most of all he loved<br />
spending time with his family.<br />
He is survived by<br />
his two daughters,<br />
Michelle O’ Keefe<br />
and her husband<br />
Brian of Cary, N.C.,<br />
Kristina Richard<br />
and her fi ancé<br />
Shane Waterhouse<br />
of Peabody; his<br />
granddaughter,<br />
Margaret “Maggie”<br />
O’Keefe; his two<br />
brothers, Philip<br />
Richard and his wife Alicia of<br />
Lynn, John Richard of Minneapolis,<br />
Minn.; his brother-in-law,<br />
Steven Arnold and his wife Andrea<br />
of Lynn. He also leaves his<br />
nieces and nephews, Philip and<br />
Sara, and several cousins.<br />
Service information: His<br />
memorial service was held on<br />
Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11<br />
a.m. in the West Congregational<br />
Church, 27 Johnson St.,<br />
Peabody. The family prefers in<br />
lieu of flowers donations be<br />
made to the Northeast Animal<br />
Shelter, 347 Highland Ave.,<br />
Salem, MA 01970. Directions<br />
