bar RoomSix is offering customers a rare<br />

treat of a dining experience, serving their<br />

platters ‘Black Rock Style’.<br />

The Black Rock is a small, square,<br />

volcanic rock, superheated to a scorching<br />

440 degrees and brought out to your table<br />

for you to cook your choice of meat before<br />

your expert eye. Perfect for all those<br />

fed up of giving lengthy explanations<br />

to the waiter about what the defi nition<br />

blue means to you. The rock sears each<br />

surface of the meat, sealing in the meat’s<br />

unique fl avour and juices. Because no oil<br />

or fat is added to the mix, the Black Rock<br />

is actually a pretty healthy way to dine<br />

out.<br />

Mind you, if you’re looking for more<br />

than just eats for a night out, RoomSix<br />

is defi nitely one of Bournemouth’s top<br />

pre-club bars, serving a variety of vodkas.<br />

The venue is the fi rst venture into bar<br />

ownership for entrepreneurs Scott<br />

Richards and Andy Kingston. Scott is aged<br />

only 19, but has been in and around the<br />

bar and club industry for as long as he can<br />

remember. Scott’s previous experience<br />

includes running bars in Portsmouth,<br />

Southampton and Bournemouth. Andy,<br />

25, can name Future 3000 and Dorset<br />

brewers Hall and Woodhouse as previous<br />

infl uences on his career so far.<br />
