Clare Summerskill brings ‘Dyke’
humour to the forefront of alternative
comedy in March when she
appears at the Nuffi eld Theatre in
Southampton.
Described as ‘one of the funniest
women in the country,’ by Time Out,
and ‘Uninhibited and Unorthodox’
by the Independent, Clare is often
compared to Victoria Wood, and with
her comedy partner Alice, scooped
the Pink Paper’s ‘Best Cabaret Act of
the Year.’

THE LONDON!
Never a bar to go in for the same old,
same old, the latest addition to the
already bursting calendar of fun at
Southampton’s London Hotel is Gay
Strictly Come Dancing. Out with the
jeans, in with the tuxedos, gowns
and glitter; it’s time to party!

were taking place, but if you’d like

Riley. Meanwhile dance teacher
extraordinaire, David Trowbridge
will be putting students through their
paces on Sunday evenings from 7pm
to 9pm. The Grand Final will take
place at the London Hotel on Sunday
4th May 2008.

BOURNE FREE - THE SURVEY
The Bourne Free committee are
working hard to get things ready for
Bournemouth’s Pride event in 2008.
Teaming up with Lawrence Roots
from Bournemouth University’s
Tourism Management course,
they are carrying out a survey on
Bourne Free 2007. The online survey
is tailored to collect information
from both local people visitors who
travelled to Bournemouth for the
Pride event. As an incentive all
completed surveys are entered into
a prize draw to win a £50 Clone Zone
