Two-time IBF Jr. Welterweight world champion and former WBA
super lightweight and welterweight world champion, Ricky
Hatton MBE, will be hanging up his boxing gloves to make a guest
appearance in Bournemouth this summer.
Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton will be joined by fellow boxing icon
Frank Bruno at the BIC on 11 July for a night of fi ghting-talk and
entertainment. It’s a show that, with compere and organiser Terry
Baker, is sure will be a knock-out night for fans.
“This will be one of the fi rst live shows Ricky’s done,” says Terry.
“It’s not a case of putting someone on a stage – they have to do
something! And Ricky is really very funny. He’s brilliant.
“You have to be a boxing fan really to enjoy it. And Ricky Hatton is
one of the biggest names in boxing since Frank Bruno – so boxing
fans will lap it up!”
A limited number of VIP tickets have already gone on sale, giving
die-hard fans the chance to attend a scheduled meet and greet
with Bruno and Hatton prior to the show. They cost £75, and are
