NEW PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE AT THE ARTS INSTITUTE An exciting new photography degree has been launched at the Arts Institute, Bournemouth, for those who wish to study part-time. The course is the latest addition to the Institute’s portfolio, which includes full-time courses in BA (Hons) Photography and FdA Commercial Photography. The new Photography Foundation Degree targets creative thinkers who have the drive to produce innovative and stimulating work. It’s designed to suit those wishing to be<strong>com</strong>e <strong>com</strong>mercial or social photographers, as well as exhibition photographers and <strong>com</strong>munity arts practitioners. Students on the course will benefi t from large, well-equipped photographic studios with state-of-the-art equipment. The team has a variety of professional experience, including portrait, documentary, landscape, advertising and editorial photography. Guest speakers will also be lecturing during the course from a range of www.listedmagazine.<strong>com</strong> professions such as photography and picture-editing to agency work and art directing. After a fi ve-year re-development, the Arts Institute now includes a large specialist library, the Museum of Design in Plastics, a conference centre, purpose-built workshops and an Enterprise Pavilion with business incubation units for graduate entrepreneurs.
