F A C U L T Y Prof. Murali S. M.Com, MFM, LLB, CAIIB, FCMA, ACS, [Ph.D.] Prof. Murali has 40 years of experience in leading private and public-sector banks apart from being in academics. He is professionally qualified in Banking, Law, Management Accounting, and Company Secretaryship. He has written over 30 articles in the areas of Banking, Finance, and Strategy. Prof. Murali has authored 4 books – Financial Accounting, Accounting for Managers, Bank Credit Management (Co Author), and Personal Financial Planning (Co Author). He runs a knowledge management consulting firm wherein he handles training sessions in professional institutes in the areas of Finance and Banking. He has also written a Manual of Instructions for a leading Micro Financial Institution. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries. He is also a Certified Associate Member of the Institute of Banking and Finance. He has submitted his Doctoral Thesis in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility. Prof. Muralidhara G.V. BE (Mechanical), PGDM (IIM Bangalore), CFA Prof. Muralidhara is a Mechanical Engineer, PGDM, and Gold Medalist from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Chartered Financial Analyst. With an industry experience of more than 28 years, he has held several senior positions in reputed public sector and private sector organizations. Prior to his stint as Director and Campus Head at <strong>IBS</strong> Bangalore, he was the Dean – Case Research Center at <strong>IBS</strong> Hyderabad. In this position, he led a team of talented case writers at the globally renowned center of excellence which won several international awards and accomplishments. Prof. Muralidhara has authored/coauthored more than one hundred case studies in management. Several of these have won awards at international competitions and have also been reprinted in international textbooks. He has been on the jury for a number of competitions and a reviewer for many international conferences. He has conducted a number of faculty development workshops as well as Management Development Programs. 18
F A C U L T Y Prof. Radhika Ramesh MA (English), B.Ed., PGDHRM Prof. Radhika has spent the past 20 years helping students learn language and communication skills. She has carried out training assignments for proffesionals too. Most of these years, she has been in academic adminstration as well. Her continuous efforts are to blend teaching and technology. She is passionate about causes like education, environment and women empowerment. She teaches Business Communication and Soft Skills. Prof. Ravichandran V. M.S. (Inf. Tech.), MBA (Finance) Prof. Ravichandran has over 30 years of experience – 28 of them in Industry (16+ years as a Business Manager in Himalaya Drug Co, 11+ years as Manager in HSBC in the Global Banking Markets division and Analytics division (Credit Control Management, Credit Risk & Operation Risk Management, and Risk Analytics)) and over 2 years in Academics. He has handled various finance subjects – Financial Derivatives, Portfolio Management, International Financial Management, Advanced Capital Budgeting, Investment Banking, Strategic Financial Management, Project Appraisal & Finance, and Advanced Financial Management. He has also worked as a consultant in IT companies for a few assignments for BASEL related market risk projects. Currently he handles the subjects of Investment Banking, Strategic Financial Management, Project Appraisal & Finance, Advanced Financial Management, and Marketing of Financial Products. Dr. Reema Mohanty MBA (HR), Certified Behavior & Values Analyst, Ph.D Dr. Reema has over 10 years of experience in developing and managing talent across leading organizations in India like Infosys Technologies, Mphasis, and Goldman Sachs. In academics, she brings in over 7 years of experience in the areas of organizational leadership, employee relations, and organizational behavior, with a special interest in curriculum and student development and strengthening the academia-industry partnership. Dr. Mohanty has done her Ph.D. on the gaps between B-school education and industry expectations. 19
