without having the device can see
these data on the App, whereas you
need to have the PIQ to create an account
and enter the PIQ world.
One other nice thing to highlight is the
automatic delivery to your email address
of the "badges". In other words,
whenever you improve a Record you'll
receive an email congratulating you
for the improvement with some nice
instances of what you just did. So, for
example, when you'll jump 2 meters
high you will have a customised report
with your profile photo where you
are taller than an English bus, if you go
over 4 meters then you’ll be taller than
an elephant and other funny things
that I don't want to spoil but that you'll
like when you get them.
Furthermore, on a daily basis, if you
are in the first 15, you automatically
get the leaderboards of the spot, nation,
continent, world... This way every
day it's a competition, and you'll be extremely
satisfied to have taken part to
a "global" competition.
Lastly, it must be highlighted the option
by the WOO to filter data and
above all add them to videos through
the WOOvie Editor https://woosports.
com/kite/woovie/Editor, currently
only for Mac.
5 – COMMUNITY
The WOO was released a year earlier
than the PIQ, therefore the first and
most known, also sponsor of several
editions of the Red Bull King of the Air.
So, it's not a surprise that it's the most
used device with a community of over
16.000 users with a daily strong expansion,
against the just 3.000 of the
PIQ.
The WOO has the option of liking and
comment others' sessions and this is
a great plus because this way anyone
can interact with the Pro he/she is trying
to match or simply with the beach
mates, exchanging thoughts straight
away. The PIQ also has this option but
is less straightforward because it’s
necessary to install an extra App by
North, therefore exiting the main App.
With the WOO it's easy to discover new
spots for jumping and check the leaderboard
of the single spots also on the
web http://explore.woosports.com/.
Also, a mention to the option to create
"customized" rankings with just
a hashtag # in the description of the
session.
