ITINERARY<br />
Days 1 – 6: As per 7 day option itinerary<br />
Day 7: Andernach – Bonn – Cologne<br />
We cruise to Bonn, the former capital of western<br />
Germany and birthplace of Beethoven. You can<br />
explore at leisure or join our optional trip on the<br />
Dragon Rock Railway which leads to the top of<br />
Drachenfels, a hill surrounded by legends. We then<br />
cast off for the final time and cruise to the mighty<br />
city of Cologne. You are then free to enjoy the<br />
remainder of the day in this beautiful city which is<br />
dominated by its huge gothic cathedral.<br />
Day 8: Cologne – UK<br />
This morning we bid farewell to our captain and<br />
crew and disembark for the return journey to<br />
the UK.<br />

For our August departure we visit Koblenz<br />
where the festival will be in full swing and a<br />
huge fireworks display takes place with the<br />
Ehrenbreitstein Fort<strong>res</strong>s in the background.<br />
14 September – sail with the flotilla<br />
Oberwesel: The Night of the Thousand Fi<strong>res</strong><br />
We sail with the flotilla on the 10 September<br />
departure where a fantastic musical fireworks<br />
display is held near the town of Oberwesel on<br />
the Rhine.<br />
21 September – sail with the flotilla<br />
St Goar: The Night of the Lorelei<br />
For the 16 and 17 September departu<strong>res</strong><br />
we sail with the flotilla and be part of the<br />
festival in the twin towns of St Goar and St<br />
Goarshausen, where the fireworks will be amid<br />
the breathtaking surroundings of the legendary<br />
Lorelei and the romantic castles of Katz and<br />
Rheinfels.<br />
(Meal arrangements may be revised on<br />
the festival day to suit festival timings/<br />
programme).<br />
The order and times of any optional excursions are<br />
subject to change due to the timings of the festivals.<br />
Any alterations to the published times and days of the<br />
