Draw, pattern and paint a deep-sea fish.<br />

deep sea angler fish, from books or the<br />
internet<br />
✓✓ large sheet of cartridge paper<br />
✓✓ lead pencils<br />
✓✓ erasers<br />
✓✓ black permanent markers<br />
LESSON 1<br />
1. Look at images of deep-sea fish and<br />
discuss their features.<br />
2. The students draw their own version of<br />
a deep-sea fish, including the features<br />
discussed.<br />
3. The students draw lines to break up<br />
areas of the fish’s body into segments.<br />
In each segment, draw a variety of<br />
patterns.<br />
4. Trace over the completed design using<br />
black permanent marker.<br />

Lesson 2<br />
