Both undereating and overeating are maladaptive
on the longer term. In the brain, information
relevant to food intake and energy balance
is evaluated, stored and integrated. Food
perception is affected by several factors. These
include hormonal signals indicative of energy
INTACT – Individually tailored
stepped care for women with eating
Individualizovaná postupná péče pro ženy
s poruchami příjmu potravy
Summary: INTACT is a multi-disciplinary and
inter-sectorial network of 9 European partners from
8 EU countries aiming at the development of new
strategies for the prevention and treatment of eating
disorders.
Acknowledging that not all women at risk for
an eating disorder actually develop the disorder and
that not all of those who get ill need the same type
and intensity of care, INTACT studies stepped care
treatment and individually tailored interventions
based on research into the process of getting ill, getting
well, and staying well. The development of such
innovative approaches in which treatments are
provided sequentially according to patients’ needs
promises to optimise health care for ED patients.
The INTACT studies focus on the development
of (1) risk models, (2) step-up interventions, (3) therapy
process-outcome models, and (4) step-down
interventions. Specifically, INTACT expects considerable
improvement of the delivery of seamless care
through the application of modern information and
communication technologies such as internet and
mobile phones. Besides an outline of the guiding
principles and an overview over the studies we will
exemplify these novel approaches through data and
experiences gathered by the Heidelberg group.
INTACT is funded by the European
Commission (MRTN-CT-2006-035988).
Souhrn: Cílem projektu INTACT (Individually
Tailored Stepped Care for Women with Eating
Disorders) je multidisciplinární a intersektorová
reserves and hunger, like leptin and ghrelin, sensory
signals indicative of the sort of food that is
available, as well as associated cognitive processes
relating to previous experiences and convictions.
Both anorectic and obese subjects have
a heightened sensitivity to food cues, and show
aberrant processing of food reward and pathological
levels of energy intake and expenditure.
Therapy – new individualized approaches and the language
spolupráce devíti Evropských partnerů z osmi členských
zemí Evropské unie na rozvoji nových strategií
prevence a léčby poruch příjmu potravy.
Na základě poznatku, že ne všechny ženy
s rizikovými faktory pro rozvoj poruchy příjmu
potravy jí skutečně onemocní, a ne všechny nemocné
potřebují stejnou formu a intenzitu léčby,
se studie probíhající v rámci projektu INTACT zaměřují
na odstupňovanou léčbu a individuálně
přizpůsobené intervence vycházející z výzkumu
o procesu onemocnění, uzdravení a zachování
terapie a (4) následnou péči. Očekáváme, že projekt
INTACT přinese znatelné zlepšení v poskytování
nenákladné péče prostřednictvím zavádění moderních
informačních a komunikačních technologií,
jako jsou internet a mobilní telefony. V našem
sdělení se kromě základních informací o projektu
a přehledu jednotlivých studií zaměříme na tyto
nové přístupy a jejich přínos. Prezentujeme data
a zkušenosti Heidelberské skupiny.
VII. Mezioborová konference o poruchách příjmu potravy a obezitě s mezinárodní účastí | 19. – 21. 3. 2009
There is ample neuroimaging evidence that
abnormalities persist after recovery in subjects
with AN or obesity.
In this lecture the question is addressed how
clinicians can use and integrate these findings
in their daily work.
culture background and personal meaning of eating
disorders. In psychotherapy research, content
analyses of session transcripts or narratives derived
from open-ended approaches such as therapeutic
writings have a long tradition and usually are
subsumed under the umbrella of qualitative research.
Recent developments in corpus linguistics
and computer assisted text analysis, however, offer
new perspectives for the analysis of natural written
or spoken language. In the present paper, we
introduce computer based text analysis methods
that process natural language data on different
levels of linguistic complexity. Results from studies
using these approaches indicate their usefulness
as a non-obtrusive, reliable and valid measure of
psychological processes. The potentials of linguistic
approaches for eating disorders research, especially
the research into cognitive variables and risk factors,
are evaluated and the limitations of the different
approaches are discussed.
Jde o nereaktivní data, která nám pomáhají
porozumět kulturnímu pozadí a osobnímu
významu poruch příjmu potravy. Ve výzkumu
psychoterapie má obsahová analýza transkriptů
terapeutických sezení nebo vyprávění získaných
při technikách s otevřenými otázkami, například
technikou terapeutického psaní, dlouhou tradici.
Obyčejně se tyto práce souhrnně označují jako
kvalitativní výzkum. Nejnovější rozvoj v oblasti
lingvistiky a analýzy textů pomocí počítače ale
nabízí nové možnosti analýzy přirozeně psaného
nebo mluveného slova. V našem sdělení
se zabýváme metodami analýzy textů pomocí
počítače, které pomáhají zpracovat data přirozeného
jazyka na různých úrovních lingvis-
