Mavs & Mochas: Texas Harley Davidson

Rain, and lots of it, did not deter the Porsche faithful
from making the trip to Bedford, TX for a Mavs and
Mochas hosted by Texas Harley Davidson. The event,
which as sponsored by Park Place Porsche, showcased
Porsches of the 1980’s. A 928SC Carrera and a 968
were among the nearly 60 Porsches in attendance.
Park Place Porsche furnished a Panamera Tourismo
loaner, while Texas Harley Davidson provided the
Felix coffee truck. Kudos, too, to the cone squad who
assisted in getting everybody safely parked. No small
feat for reverse parking in heavy overcast.
This was the second Maverick event hosted by Texas
Harley Davidson. This time the owner understandably
kept his Porsche Carrera GT at home high and dry.
For those who have not been to Texas Harley
Davidson, and those of you heretically uninterested the
motorcycles, it is still well worth the trip.
