Sundance<br />
Winter brings some <strong>of</strong> the best powdery snow on earth, and snow and ski enthusiasts<br />
can visit Sundance Resort for a day on the slopes before dining in a choice <strong>of</strong> four- and<br />
five-star restaurants (The Sundance Tree Room boasts Zagat’s highest-rated restaurant in<br />
<strong>Utah</strong>). Snow enthusiasts can also find abundant powder for snowmobiling, snowshoeing,<br />
and cross country skiing in mountain landscapes so picturesque one would think they had<br />
to have been photographically manipulated. It is a bit like living in a picture postcard.<br />
A few blocks from downtown Provo finds ice skaters using the Peaks Ice Arena, which<br />
was created for the 2002 Winter Olympics.<br />
