an attempt to inject it into gameplaying moments through the Prince’s<br />

voice-over asides, <strong>and</strong> certain pivotal actions the player has to take that<br />

move the plot forward. And the gameplay is influenced by the story in<br />

the way characters share advice on what to do <strong>and</strong> how plot points become<br />

gameplaying goals. The Prince of Persia: The S<strong>and</strong>s of Time may<br />

have had a few faulty moments of dissonance, but overall, it did an elegant<br />

job of combining its narrative <strong>and</strong> gameplay to provide a fulfilling<br />

interactive experience. It is a game well played.<br />
