Lochwinnoch Dementia Friendly Village Tea<br />
Dance - Friday 5th October<br />
We had a fantastic turn out at the tea dance<br />
at Lochwinnoch Golf club. There was great<br />
dancing and singing to ‘Music Box’. The Lochwinnoch Primary School captains<br />
joined in with enthusiasm. Following the fantastic afternoon tea the captains<br />
entertained the audience with a selection of poetry, dancing, clarinet playing and<br />
magic!!<br />
A huge thank you to the Golf club, Carol and the catering team for the wonderful<br />
tea, the keep fi t group, dementia friends and the primary captains for all the help<br />
with the raffl e and clearing up. Lastly, thanks to Councillor Andy Doig and MSP<br />
Tom Arthur who came to support the dance.<br />
Dementia Friendly Training Tuesday - 16th October<br />
A good turnout of over 20 attended the training in the Calder Church by Gerry<br />
McCoy and Carolyn Irvine from Alzheimer Scotland. There will be more training<br />
in the New Year watch this space!!<br />
Christmas Tea Dance Friday - 7th December Lochwinnoch Golf Club<br />
Note at earlier time of 1pm (Transport from the cross at 12.45pm). Dance and<br />
