CET Group’s Teresa was also positive,
praising the international reach of the
event: “The majority of our customers
have come from Europe,” she said, “but
we also have some customers from
Africa and the Middle East.”
Apex’s Cindy Zhang agreed, stating
that the company’s booth had
welcomed “many old friends, lots of
customers, and lots of people from
India and Russia.” Zhang also
highlighted the importance of
Remanexpo’s timing, with its position
at the beginning of the year valuable in
setting the agenda for the coming year.
“We’ve met the people we want to
meet,” explained Data Direct’s Peter
Cowan, who called the show “a good
meeting place,” with Frances Chen,
Sales and Marketing Manager of
GPI/Cartridge Web in agreement:
“This is a good chance to meet all the
customers, it’s a really good chance.
We have a lot of existing customers,
who are coming from across Europe to
meet us.”
“For us, it’s the most important event
of the year,” said Adele Berionni of
Ecoservice di Santarelli Paolo. “It’s
always really interesting to meet our
suppliers, to meet our customers, and
to meet new potential customers,” she
explained, revealing that fifty percent
of the company’s meetings had been
with new customers.
“It has been very interesting,”
concurred Joachim Kretschmer, of
PRP Solutions. “There have been many
people, and we’ve had some very
interesting talks.”
Charlie Ray, of Zhuhai, China-based
company Gikar, was especially
enthusiastic, telling The Recycler that
the company had enjoyed “a really
good show,” with dozens of customers
making their way to the remanufacturer’s
booth.
Paul Needham, General Sales
Manager of Static Control, was also
effusive, saying that the show had
been “educational, with interesting
things to learn about the industry as
a whole. There is energy in the air
about this show and it’s been exciting
and busy.”
“For us, it’s a great opportunity to
meet a lot of our European partners,”
Needham elaborated. “It’s one of our
few chances to sit down, talk and
reflect on the previous year, and to
deeply discuss what our plans are for
the coming year.”
