New faces at Clover, Memjet, and
Keypoint Intelligence
It’s been a busy month for in-goings, with all three companies welcoming new members to the team in the last few weeks,
while Print-Rite has celebrated the longevity of some of its own staff.
Clover Imaging Group announced the
appointment of Dominique Moine as the
company’s new Director of MPS
Professional Services, EMEA.
In his new role, Moine will determine
with Clover’s senior management the
direction and expansion of its Axess MPS
programme activities in EMEA, as well as
working with the regional Clover sales
teams to help introduce a more servicesbased
model to their channel partners.
Moine arrives at Clover as a true MPS
expert, with over 25 years’ experience in
the imaging industry. He previously
worked for a total of 14 years at Hewlett
Packard, culminating in 4 years as HP
Solutions Architect, forming the initial
plans for HP’s MPS programme in
Europe.
After leaving HP, Moine ran his own
MPS consultancy for a number of years,
and then spent 7 years with Konica
Minolta Business Solutions in France,
running the OEM’s MPS programmes.
Most recently, he has worked as Group
Printing Solutions Manager for Lyreco.
“We are delighted to have such an
experienced MPS professional as
Dominique join our management team in
EMEA,” said Mark Perry, Clover’s
Managing Director. “The combination of
our Axess MPS solutions plus the fully IP
and environmentally compliant nature of
Clover’s remanufactured cartridges will
give our reseller partners a powerful
combination that enables their clients to
maximise the efficiency of their printer
installed base, whilst helping the
environment by utilising genuine
remanufactured cartridges that respect all
OEM patents.”
Meanwhile, Memjet has revealed that
Sunil Gupta has joined the company’s
Board of Directors. Gupta has held a variety
of leadership positions over the last forty
years, with multiple large enterprises,
including Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific, and Xerox
International Partners. From 2016 until
September last year, he was Managing
Director of Fuji Xerox Australia, with the
OEM saying at the time of his stepping
down that his efforts had been pivotal in
putting the company “back on the path to a
bright future, financially and operationally.”
Gupta also sat on the Board of Directors
of the OEM’s Australian division for two
years, from 2016 to 2018. Prior to his role
at Fuji Xerox Australia, Gupta was
managing director of Fuji Xerox Asia
Pacific, Malaysia operations, where he
provided the vision needed to realign the
company, reverse a sharply declining
trend, and deliver two consecutive years of
double-digit revenue, profit, market share,
and customer satisfaction growth.
Prior to this, he served as President and
CEO of Xerox International Partners (XIP)
from 2002 to 2012, a role in which he
actively engaged key stakeholders to
execute a shared vision. The strategic plans
Gupta developed set the stage for new
technologies, product platforms and valueadded
services that resulted in revenue
growth and customer loyalty in a flat
market.
“Mr. Gupta joins Memjet’s board of
directors at a time of great growth and
opportunity for our company,” said Len
Lauer, Chief Executive Officer at Memjet.
“Today, our modular technology provides a
growing number of global OEM partners
with the speed, simplicity, and profitability
needed to shorten their development time
and bring products to market more
efficiently. Mr. Gupta’s senior leadership
experience with tier one imaging OEM
partners, combined with his in-depth
industry experience, adds to the diversity
of our board. We welcome him and look
forward to his contributions.”
Elsewhere, Keypoint Intelligence was
also opening the door to a new face, with
Eric Zimmerman joining the company as
Director of the Wide Format (WFP)
advisory service.
In his new role, Zimmerman will
assume responsibility for forecasting,
market analysis, research, and custom
consulting related to wide format digital
printing including graphics and technical
applications.
Zimmerman has 20-plus years’
experience in the wide format market,
specialising in consultative, solution-based
sales, marketing, and product
development. After eight years of
successfully operating his own sign
business, SSB Sign Design, he took a role
as the regional manager of Southern
California at Signarama. Since 2011, he
has also held positions with Roland DG,
where he was most recently General
Manager for the Sign Business
Development Unit.
Zimmerman’s various fields of expertise
includes: Competitive analysis; market
sizing and opportunity analysis; market
trend analysis; product/brand development;
go-to-market & positioning
strategies; industry forecasts; and industry
and technology research.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Eric to the
Keypoint Intelligence - InfoTrends team”
commented Ron Gilboa, Group Director of
Production Services. “Eric’s wealth of
industry knowledge and extensive market
experience make him a valuable addition
to our diverse team of professionals.”
“I’m excited to be working with such
highly qualified industry analysts and
consultants at Keypoint Intelligence -
InfoTrends,” commented Zimmerman
himself. “I look forward to applying my
knowledge to help clients discover new
business opportunities and improve their
operations.”
Finally, Print-Rite’s European division
was celebrating not the arrival of new staff,
but the longevity of some of its veteran
team members.
Taking to social media, Print-Rite
Europe congratulated employees Shelley
Doherty and Andrew Doherty for reaching
two decades with the company, thanking
them “for their hard work at Print-Rite for
20 years.”
Furthermore, the company also offered
“big congratulations” to team member
Karen Clarke, who was also marking a
milestone, and expressed its gratitude for
Clarke’s “loyalty and dedication to Print-
Rite for 35 years!”
