Four disciplines will be involved in this Forum, namely
Chinese Language
& Literature, History, Philosophy, and Art Education.
The principal academic directions are as follows:

Literature, Chinese Philology, Linguistics and Applied

History: Chinese history, World history
Philosophy: Western Philosophy, Chinese
Philosophy, Logic, Philosophy of

5. How to Apply
Application: Complete the online application form on
the school

Invitation: All the applications will be assessed by
the departments(centers) in the school, and all the
candidates will be evaluated by the school academic
committee. Applicants who pass the
assessment will receive an official invitation letter
through email by mid-April 2019.
RSVP: Invited scholars are required to fill in a receipt
within one week and confirm the participation.

Board & Lodging: FULL SUPPORT
Travel Expenses: SJTU will offer reimbursement for
round-trip travel expenses(economy class air ticket,
hard sleeper ticket, or second-class
high-speed rail ticket), for which original bills are
required. Please hand in the bills(invoice of the flight,
boarding pass, a copy of the passport, tickets) to the
coordinator during the registration.

Chinese Language Teaching Assistant (Lancaster,
PA)
Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a
one-year part-time teaching assistant (drill instructor)
position in its Chinese Language Program, beginning
Fall Semester 2019.
Candidates must have native or near-native
proficiency in both Chinese and English, a B.A. in
Chinese pedagogy, literature, linguistics, or a related
field. M.A. and teaching experience are preferred, but
not required. The successful candidate will teach drill
sessions to elementary level students of Chinese,
conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students of
different levels, and assist students in learning the
Chinese language and gaining an understanding of
Chinese culture through a variety of co-curricular
activities. Candidates should submit the following

application, current curriculum vitae, transcripts, and
a sampling of teaching evaluations. Applicants must
also arrange for two letters of recommendation to be
submitted by referees directly to Interfolio. Inquiries
