The world is a big place but luckily the virtual world
of online training is accessible to all, 24/7. Laura
Gelder looks at the latest training out there
ASelling Travel survey conducted
last month showed that online
training is still held in high regard
- 78% said web courses are ‘very useful’
or ‘excellent training for agents’.
In fact, 80% of agents surveyed had
participated in online training courses and
they were listed as the second most popular
training resource after trade magazines.
the December issue, tying in with the peak
season for agents pursuing professional
development, just prior to the peak selling
months in the New Year. But as peak
holiday time looms, many agents will
be knuckling down to training over the
summer months too and there is a
raft of new options out now.
Brand updates
The Tobago Tourism Agency has released
new online training in line with its recent
‘unspoilt, untouched and undiscovered’
rebrand. Tobago101specialist.co.uk has six
modules covering brand pillars
like sea and beaches; eco
