Peripheral Nerve Growth Branching and
Retraction: Studies in Fluorescent Mice
Description: Mice in which axons express a variety of
different colored fluorescent proteins allow in vivo
studies of peripheral nerve development and reorganization
in trauma and aging.
Jeff Lichtman, MD, PhD is Professor of Molecular and
Cellular Biology at Harvard University. He received his
MD and PhD in Neurobiology at Washington University
in St. Louis. Dr. Lichtman currently serves as Advisory
Editor for Anatomy and Embryology and is on the
Editorial Board for the Journal of Neuroscience, Journal
of Neurobiology, Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience
and Cells and Systems.
