The teams raced against the elements to continue
work over one of the snowiest Massachusetts winters
on record. The Soderholms were so committed to
staying on schedule, they used ground heaters and sent
crews to plow snow on Sundays so work could resume
uninterrupted Monday mornings.
Mason Nick O’Hara of O’Hara & Company, tasked with
creating crucial stonework on the exterior of the home,
leveraged seven different quarry sources to create the
perfect stonework color palette.
As the house was nearing its finish, Peter Murray of Fine
Finish, Herrick & White, and Wayne Towle of Master
Finishing and Restoration set to work on the interior
woodwork in preparation for the family’s first Christmas
celebration.
“Every subcontractor and supplier involved with the
project brought an attention to detail and quality
that lived up to the clients’ expectations,” said Ken
Soderholm. “The clients themselves were also a key part
of the partnership, visiting often and taking the time to
thank every worker on site.”
