in my career, and I think it’s only
right to do my part in further
contributing to its growth.
People will look at the
PHILCONSTRUCT show this
November and see how
impressive it is. While it’s true
that I am the event chairman this
year, I don’t take credit for that
success. I am only here chairing
an extraordinary event because
so many other chairmen before
me have put in a lot of hard
work, time, passion, and effort
into making it the success that it
is today. These are people who,
even before PHILCONSTRUCT
became a huge success, already
believed in its vision and have
done their part in making sure
it stays true to its mission of
being an event that unifies this
industry. We owe it to them to
make this 30th edition deliver its
purpose. Having great numbers
is great, but for us, having quality
exhibition which caters exactly to
what the nation builders need, is
the best.
I would like to end this by
expressing my deepest gratitude
and appreciation to all the men
and women who became part of
PHILCONSTRUCT for the last
three decades. Let me say thank
you for not giving up. If not for
the commitment and willingness
they have dedicated to this show,
it would not be as big as it is
today. Their sacrifices have truly
inspired not only me, but
everyone in the industry to give
back. Indeed, this is the only
trade exposition done not for
personal gain, but the industry. It
has always been for the industry.
